ive just removed one from my 90 as it & the bonnet catch were no longer required when i fitted my intercooler

Ok..... though I think we may talking cross purposes... I mean an additional lock sort of like those hasp and staple things but with a barrel as part of it. Just pondering the best location for one.

You can buy a genuine barrel type one from Land Rover. If you look at the front grille, just below the bonnet. There is a Grommet. This is where it goes. Go to any Dealer and get the part numbers. Then have a look on the web. :)
