That really is disgusting, these fireman know what they are getting themselves in for and willingly risk their lives to save others, on a daily basis and this is how their superiors treat them.

The ammount they have spent on the legal fees could have quite easily gone into training which would prevent, or limit the chances of, something like this happening again.

Everyone expects fireman to go above and beyond the normal call of duty, i know i do, but at the same time i am extremely grateful for them doing that, they dont get paid enough money or get enough recognition for what they actually do.

But its not just the superiors that cause the problems, its the gangs of youths that call them out and then bombard them with bricks and stuff, they have no idea at all the stress these men are under, i have no clue of the stress they are under, but man do they do a good job!!

Title of this post is a bit misleading isn't it?

I read the story and it's not saying that. Of course, you can hardly expect the Daily Mail to truthfully report anything unless it agrees with their particular right wing, racist and zenophobic agenda.

So.... where was his on site supervisor...?

One leading hand goes down with exhaustion... another is injured through best efforts to use unfamiliar equipment.

Not the fire fighter that should be in court... His supervisor should be!

I'm not say it isn't, but that's how the excerpt is titled on the web-page
