Any one got a Citeron AX Haynes manual

Hi guys the wifes 1994 1.0 AX failed its mot....running a bit rich, does any one know which direction to adjust the mixture screw on the carb to lean it off a little  :shock:

at a guees, as with most things like this I would say clockwise. it IS a guess though, any carb I have done has always been clockwise (winds the screw into the jet)

I thought that as well, but someone said it may be an air bleed and not a fuel adjustment done by turning the screw, so I would like to double check before I give it a turn in and take it back for another test, which I have to pay for in full again here.  :x
