Urgent Master Cylinder Help Needed
« on: November 12, 2006, 13:26:01 »
I've changed the clutch master cylinder on my 300TDi 90.

There is no pressure on the pedal now and it goes straight to the floor. I've been trying to bleed it but it wont pump any fluid though.

Any ideas what's wrong. I've done this job several times and never had this issue.

Thanks for any help.

Yep. Having taken it to bits again, it does pump fluid though if you manually opearate it by pushing the piston in and out.

The problem seems to be in the adjustment. It wont let me adjust it properly. When you tighen one nut the other one becomes loose.
