Can anyone tell me any makes of quad bikes as wanting a cheap one for 15 year old to play around with.

All the main bike people do them, but if just for fun get on Eblag and find one, why buy new?

Absolutely, a lot of the cheapo brands are almost disposable, you can get them quite cheap in Macro but I owuldn't want to buy spares for them.

My mate runs Pocket Bikez have a look.

LC 80 series 1993. 285/75/16s Cooper STTs, OME 850s on the front with 25mm packer, 868s on the rear. 4.88 diffs. Winch bumper with 12000lb winch. Factory lockers. HD rear bumper with wheel carrier and winch mount.
