It was pretty good I do have to agree.

However, there are some VERY good films out atm.

The Prestige and History Boys.

I stongly advise planning to write off sat on an all day movie-and-hotdog binge.

It will be out on DVD before it gets to the local one screen shed.
Always the same

It's only now showing 'The Devil Wears Prada'

Had a look at the listings
It's on from January 5 - 10

Was in 2 minds when they picked craig. I thought die another day was poor- invisible cars, skiing down landslides etc, it just got silly so... i thought DC might bring it all back down to earth, but then he doesnt look very bondy so it was risky

Sounds like they've got it just right... cant wait to watch it but im gonna get a dvd for crimbo

I saw it on saturday. I thought it was overall very good, not much of a comedy element though, and what happend to Q. I have to say the slighly camp and unbeliveable villains is what I liked about the old bond films, they were never supposed to be  totally serious. Just a good dose of action, a few witty one liners and some pretty women to finish the whole ensemble.

what more could you ask for a couple of hours entertainment, from a male perspective anyway :)

Got there last night.

What a cracking film :D
From the fight in the toilets at the beginning, it was a more gritty, brutal Bond.
Much as I liked Brosnan (especially Goldeneye), it was a far better take on the charactor.
Craig brings the air of menace, a man who is good at his job, and doesn't need gadgets to do it.

It certainly was refreshing to see no jet-packs, invisible cars, ejector seats, space-shuttles, etc........... (in that respect, no need for a 'Q')
But where was MoneyPenny & Charles Robinson?

Roll on the next one.

(would have liked to see Hugh Jackman have a go at Bond though)
Richard A Thackeray
Defender 110Td5 'Heritage Gone, but not forgotten
Jaguar XKR; X88 JLT, also 'gone, but not forgotten'
