We have been recycling cans, plastic, paper now for about 6 years and now the local council are handing out bins for all the different types of waste, woe betide you if your bin goes out early, or if the lid is open slightly, or if you place the wrong waste in the wrong bin I have read that other councils are slapping £100 fines for such incidents.I feel that we have to recycle household waste, if only for our future generations. However a news report from Sky today makes a mockery regarding plastic recycling.http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13553680,00.htmlWhen all plastic can be recycled safely in the UK, which I though it was, it is shipped to China and is producing more pollution than ever being recycled by under paid workers, including children.Who are the fools now, and who is making the money at the expense of the unfortunate
Heres a thought.I just half filled a bin bag with a months junk mail and circulars.

Have they put the chips in rhe weely bins yet in Grantham?I try to recycle everything possible, but we are limited to cans, plastic bottles only, card board and magazines! One thing that always bugs me are Plastic bags where can I get rid of them safely?Oh by the way... getting my AT's fitted next week :D A big thanks to my mates girlfriend in Nottingham who owns a garage and has done me a great deal! The Rubber Queen rules!
Why do they not set up recycling plants at prisons :? That way the prisoners get to sort it all out, they are doing something that they should be, contributing to society and the environment and even the human rights knobs could not argue with that.Everyone a winner.
