Why OH Why did I bother listening to their latest album? I may as well have just dug out my Iron Maiden back catalogue!!!!
After so much hype I thought i'd give them a try - Hasnt anyone in the music industry got an original idea?????? riffs and hooks are ripped from Iron maiden!
Much better was Robbie williams new one 'Rudebox' - never been a great Robbie fan, but this is totally different to his other croonings....ok so there are a few off the wall onesin there - like covers of Human Leagues LOUISE and Steven tin tin Duffy KISS ME.. but a nice refreshing album all the same!

trivial??? Pants , utter pants. They are soo commercial and tbh plain crap.

If they actually wrote some lyrics that meant something rather than stuff like anthem i might enjoy it. They can play but i just dont feel they say anything....Slayer, Metallica eat em for breakfast.

Iron Maiden, well they are still out there doing what they do. Im a big fan of the early albums, Killers and iron maiden..classic.

looking back though metallica's song titles were a bit iffy

eg

search and destroy
jump in the fire
motorbreath

megadeth is better
mechanix! ;) (or four horsemen depending on your slant

anthem's chant would work live but not on your ipod :)

Time to show my age

Saw Iron maiden live in 1986 in Nottingham Yes they were awesome, atmosphere was just .......

Also saw AC/DC in Brum, G'n'R in Also in Brum but the best live gig was U2 in Dublin, Wish I could afford it now

Went to see G'n'R this year at Nottingham and have to say Bullet were supporting them and they were not very good (Cr4p) G'n'R were due on stage at 8, We left at 10 and they were still not on stage   Well dissapointed, g/f was in early pregnancy and we had been awake since 5am and both done a full days work  :-({|=

Enjoy the gig Dan

Maiden had their time, which sort of ended when Paul Di'Annio left. Time to move over for other talent to emerge before they become as embarrasing as Mick Jagger and his freak show...

Must admit I not a huge Trivium fan (got 2 of there albums) but some of there stuff I do like, but I am huge fan of maiden, so seeing Maiden on the 23rd Dec with Trivium in support should be a good show.
