It's been an interesting series
Far better than the usual 'Police Camera Action'/'Worlds Wildest....', as it shows the work that goes on behind the scenes.

It was interesting to see the CTV from the gates showing;
B*W leaving with a pick-up which (co-incidentally) was exactly the same as theirs
Pick-up returning by itself
Crowds running out of the site

Mmmm????

Still at least he (supposedly) got 4 years, probably out in 18th months

Tomorrow evening

Wednesday BBC1 (20:00 - 20:30)
Part 5 of 6

Apparantly it's concentrating drivers who try to flee from the scene on an accident (like the Pikey 2 weeks ago  )

Has been an excellant series, saw the piky scum, they nailed him though :D

Got four years i think?  They really need to change the law to clamp down on travllers, make it hard for them to park up!1

Saw a bunch parked up in a public carpark today by wokingham, some very brave trafic warden was there...

Answer me this, to get car insurance you need a fixed abode (with postcode) to get tax, you need a V5, insurance and MOT, how do you tax a vehivle with no insurance! How do travellers get Tax, insurance and MOT for their cars and what happens if they hit you in their Transit, sorry car! Why do the police do nothing!!!

If they fine them they will have to go out and nick more transits and caravans and sell em on to make money to pay for the fine. As if the money they make would pay for the fine!! Its like saying the money they earn gets spent on black bags and the fuel they use to take thier rubbish to the dump!!

Is the series on tv by anychance or anyone recorded it on thier pc and can email it to me??? I have no tv!!

The girl (well, everybody really) in the last incident shown were very lucky indeed.

Regarding the missing caravan, methinks they stopped the right vehicles, but with no evidence.................................

In this house, the suspicions are that the one off the L322 had gone back to camp & they were cruising for 'hit' number 2

Yup. we all know where the caravan was, por family though, holiday ruined by scum!

And they knicked the guy that pulled over on the motor way, yes i know it is illegal to stop on the hardshoulder, but the poor guy did what he thought was right because he was tired, the [ed - prod with a sharp implement] could have cautioned him and moved him on....

Cheers

I too think they'd found the culprits.  As soon as the driver started talking my wife and I both said 'Gippo's'!!  I couldn't understand why they didn't at least pop over to the pikey camp and have a look?

A family friend was killed on the M27. He'd had the misfortune to break down and was mowed down by a HGV that drifted onto the hard shoulder.

With experiences like that it is not surprising that they reported the driver for sleeping there.  If you are that tired you shouldn't be driving at all, he'd only come from Bournemouth, less than 40mins away!  At the very least come off at an exit and then stop!

It's not the place to intentionally stop
Whilst not knowing anyone who's been killed on the 'hard-shoulder', I've seen the Police & Ambulance service polaroids of the aftermath & it's not nice

As the guy pulled away, you could see signs for an exit in the distance

Oh i fully understand the dangers or of it..

I have had the pleasure of working on motorway's and other main roads throughout the course of my job, and i fully understand how nasty it can be out there..  Even with signs, no one gives a toss and very rarley slow down....

Cheers

This sounds supiciously like Octobers 'ring of steel' to clampdown on the chav brigade. Think I'll be watching that on the off chance it is.

I wanna hear that whiney little scrote again moaning that the six points he got for two bald tires would go with the 6 he already had and cost him his licence. Like thats the police's fault.

If it is most of it will be around Hedge End and there was a car chase too. Some chav tried to outrun the police, with terminal consequences :(
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
