Defender seat raising
« on: December 02, 2006, 12:28:43 »
Does any body know if its possible or for that matter a good idea to raise the seat height on my Defender. As you will know there's not a lot of room in the Truck cab anyway but when your a big t**t like me its even worse.

I was wondering if it would help me get a bit more leg room if I raised the Drivers seat up. At the moment my knees are up under my chin and `cos i`m an idle sod as well, its wearing me out picking my tree trunk legs up every time I need to brake or use the clutch. It gets to the point where I would rather run into somebody in front instead of change gear or brake.

Any other big monsters out there with ideas or help for me?

I did it

Even though I'm only about 5'9"

I used 1" box-section, & could even use the original bolts
