just disconect the vacume pipe and blank it off by putting a small self tapping screw in the end off the rubber pipe
I saw that, but what's the point of it? To my mind, taking out the EGR valve and replacing it with a bit of straight pipe would give you such a marginal increase in air flow as not to make any difference. :?
I might stick the Dastek back in for now, and see if it makes any difference - it improves the top-end grunt brilliantly, 60 to 90 is much quicker than without it, but the bottom-end still lacks.Perhaps an ECU re-map is the way to go - maybe I'll add that to my Christmas list and see what SWMBO says :roll:
