Does anyone out there know how to remove the lower dash on a '92 diesel so the original spec radio can be removed as the security sign has come on , I have the radio code but don't know how to get to the code in screen up. I only want to remove what is needed not take the whole car apart. any help is apprieceated (can't spell) or if I can reset the radio then end of prob.
thanks Rob

Have a look on E-Blag for the original owners's manual. i don't have a '92 model so I don't know if the info you need will be correct.
Otherwise, is it the hard plastic console in 3 pieces or the suft covered console in 1 piece?
IIRC there is precious little holding it in, it hooks tot he bottom of the sash panel under the fusebox lid and switch panel but be careful as these are held on by pins that snap, you could make things worse :? and then some models have screws at the end of the console into the bottom of the dash. It might also clip to the centre console but as mine is past it I can't tel any difference.

all sorted , You turn the radio on and hold down the bnd button for three seconds and then you can put in the four digit security number,
so all sorted thanks for your help.
cheers Rob
