Wherever there's a problem, a Land Rover will appear like a fairy godmother, then "poof" and everone's happy.

Now if they chose to pull it out backward - being the reverse of the way it got in that mess in the first place, a Susuki would have managed it quite well  :D

I once happened upon a Suzuki trying to recover a 7 tonne waterboard truck from the edge of a field, now that definies ambition.  Other than polishing the grass s lot it was having no effect on the situation, so I offered to help.  I hooked up Blue using the chain that had been on the Suzuki, and promptly snapped it

After a succession of snapped ropes and chains it finally came free, by which time the Suzi had gone off, very quietly.

Thats why it just drove on past :)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Its a good thing the spectators weren't any closer. That cable could have done some damage.
All credit to them for getting the bus out though.

Alls the bus needed was a little coaxing all the torque was in the rear wheels just pulling the front to the side gently would have given it the grip.
