Strange request i know...

i'm after a towbar for my vectra (hatchback)...and possibly a bit of help fitting it....

preferably this week and west mids.

Fitting is a piece of p*** mate, but steer clear of the to**** ones I have to say, fit Witter if you can.  A new one will be about a ton plus an afternoon to fit.

All the mountings are specified by Vauxhall, it's the law. You'll find they are marked with dimples to drill into though tese migth not be accurate.  Buy a new towbar and th einstructions will help imensly.  Otherwise, scrapyard and take it off yourself so You know.

As a last resort, autodata manuals used to cover fitting towbars including the chassis mountings but I havn't read one for years.

Not looking to buy new if i can help it...got no cash at the moment!

And reason im asking for help...our drill wont do metal cos the chuck is knackered  :?

If, in the unlikely event anyone else wants a towbar for a Vectra hatchback (circa 1998 model) - you know where I am  :wink:
