Hello,

No, not really... but I feel like it.

Just spent a week on the Kennet & Avon Canal...  very nice...  

Got a little damp  :shock:   and conquered the Devizes Lock Flight (including the Caen Hill Locks) twice !

Would definitely recommend it as a holiday..

A friend of mine lives permanantly on a narrow boat. He is currently building a new one. Had the steel shell build professionally and is now in the long process of fitting it out to just the way he wants it. When he gets fed up of the scenery, he just moves his 'house' to another spot!

My Ma 'n' Pa have their own and dissapear for weeks on end. The good thing about boating is the relaxed atmosphere away from the rat race and a pub at lunchtime and a pub in the evening

Many,many years ago when I was a lad ,I spent several happy weekends
helping the Kennet+Avon Restoration group.
It was here I was introduced to a local brew "6X".
After that life became a blur :shock:

Once breezed into Stratford On Avon dancing on top of a 60 ' narrow boat to Bob Marley's Jammin. Went down well with the tourists - they couldn't get out the way fast enough !  :lol:
