Right then,

1968 998cc Mini Cooper (in white with Balck roof, being restored as we speak!)
My '84 Jiffy Pick-up, fully restored with loads of chrome bits!!
My '84 Jiffy Romahome Camper (big enough for two, who needs more!)
My Niva, but maxed out with stupidly mad suspension set up and twin cam lump.
Now the 'other than reality' selection

Stupid horsepower Nissan Skyline R32 GTR
Original 60's AC Cobra 427
68' Dodge Charger
Anything TVRish, Cerbera/Chimera
an a Mini with something silly in it, a bit like this...........

The best  V8'd Mini  I've seen was a few years ago in 'Street machine'

It was a van, with a Chevrolet 327
They somehow managed to keep the rubber under standard body work (even though it was 'tubbed' to within an inch of its life in the load-space  )

West Yorkshire Traffic trialled a Vauxhall Monaro when they were first imported.
The crews loved it, but it always emptied the workshops & offices whenever it was started up due to the noise
(full of 'petrol-heads' up there)

Sadly it was apparantly discounted on the grounds of limited support :?

A while ago one Officer has told me 'off the record' that Vauxhall are looking to (officially) bring in the Commodore * as a saloon & estate.
Now that will make an interesting motorway car, I'll have to try & find out more

* The Holden Commodore is essentially an Omega, but available with the 5.7 Corvette engine :(biglove):
