I watched the programme 'Ultimate Trucks' on Channel 5 the other night (Monday).
A 'rig' that I'd forgotten about was on, I'd read about it a few years ago in a magazine called' SuperTrucks' (a 'Truck' magazine annual special)
It's a mad, mad, custom built Peterbilt.
This thing is the Worlds Fastest Truck about over 370mph!!! , combined with a 6.3second Quarter-Mile!!!
Have a look at the video clip to see the degree of acceleration

That's the mag.
I'm sad to sayI lent them to a 'friend' with a 101FC (about 1998) & he moved away & I never got them back.
It was a full set of 'SuperTrucks' as well ("grumble, mutter, complain"), plus 'Custom Truck'
It was a great magazine. Some of the heavy haulage in there was great. Phil Llewellyns 'Long Distance Diary' was a must in the regular monthly editions of 'Truck' as well.
He's just got a new travelogue book out - it's a mixture of journies from 'Truck', 'Car' & various papers.
Called 'The Road To Muckleflugga' it's a superb read.

I've just thought.
Talk to Steve 'V8 MoneyPit', he orders from Haynes for his business, he might get it for you cheaper if you ask him nicely

Yeah, no problem. Just let me know and I will add it to our next stock order. However, the postage can take the discounted price back up to near the normal retail anyway. But more than happy to order one if its of use.
