Can you remember all your old cars...?
« on: December 23, 2006, 20:58:25 »
Now I asked myself this and hit the key board.
Its amazing I could remember them and I am impressed there aren’t as many as I thought!

1979 Mini (destroyed by my brother who tried to fit it in the back of a ford transit)
1973 Mini
1985 MG Metro
1979 Triumph Spitfire
1985 Honda Civic 1340 Sport (this was a rocket on wheels, just fell apart due to rust)
1983 Ford Escort
1984 Ford Fiesta
1979 Ford Transit Luton (don’t ask)
1984 Mini HLE (caught fire on A3)
1986 Metro (scrapped)
1996 Renault Clio
1996 Vauxhall Astra
1997 TVR Chimeara (share with my brother)
1986 Volvo 340 (great fun to drive)
2000 Skoda Felica
1992 Toyota Corolla (like driving an arm chair)
1993 Mini 1000
1992 Toyota Townace (horrible thing door fell of day I got it, that was a sign!)
2002 Volvo S40 Bifuel
1999 Nissan Serena (The Bus I love this thing great for the kids)
1996 Ford Fiesta Diesel (Destroyed by a lorry driver)
2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara (My favourite one of all, there is just something about this car I love)

So do you remember all your old ones?
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

OH god I thought that I was doing well bu only having 20ish

The transit was a moment of madness in my youth. Hey lets buy a Transit Luton and set up a business, so a mate and I went out and found a cheap one, reversing it onto the drive was when we realised we were nuts... plus my dad had nearly had a heart attack.

We did a few house clearences then relised we were't making any money so sold it for a profit! perhaps I should have gone into car sales!

If only we didn't already have the Mondeo

Next "car" has got to be something sensible, and I'm not entirely sure about the wisdom of a 90 over a 110 this time... Maybe next year...
Cheers
Ben

I had that debate with myself, having previously had the problems of 5 adults & luggage in my old 90V8-CSW.
It's Sods Law that since I bought the 110, I've had 8 adults in it on one occasion (& 5 at the most at other times)
Still seating 8 ought to please the Tree-Huggers as we only took one car instead of 2
