If you've got a split in the diaphram then it will keep the fuel delivery to the injectors at it's minimum level. So as you put your foot down, no extra fuel is getting through. The diaphram uses a vacuum from the turbo to raise it and increase the fueling, with a split this won't happen and thus you get poor performance. :( The injector pump is a Bosch VE pump and there are a few diesel engineering places in your area that should be able to help. Go onto the Bosch website (Here) and click on the dealer locator at the top.
