The Disco (200TDi @ 135k) seems to be breathing over heavily (white). No water loss at all. It is overdue an oil change - or is that just wishfull thinking on my part.....

No, an oil change will help with the MOT emissions test too, but have you thought it's because it's winter time? mine steam like choo-choos too, it's the high humidity/cold climate that does it.
