I may be wrong as far as I know the data protection act only allows the police to PNC check a vehicle if a road traffic offence has been committed, parking on private land is not a road traffic offence
Dazz, If the appeal letter doesn't work then put something together in the form of a Press Release and send it to the local papers and radio stations. Making the point that the hospital signage directs visitors to this carpark only for them to receive a £40 fine for actually using it. If you have to pay, you may as well make them pay as well!! :twisted:
