The brakes work ok normally.He uses it off road and after the puddles the stopping distance increases somewhat.
shortly before stopping and emptying the water out of your boots :)
Whatever you do, don't simply stick an 11" front end on without changing the master cylinder somehow......mathinks the holes are bigger somehow in the LWB m/cyl which could lead to :oops: if you ain't carefull.......imagine this...1st pump - pedal to floor2nd pump - pedal almost to floor3rd pump - front brakes4th pump - all brakesNow try that when someone just pulled out on you :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :o :o mmmmm I'd go for the servo and 109 master cylinder if I were you..
There is a conversion kit to disc brakes available, I think its a dutch company does it, not sure on the price now, was about 2-300 pounds, off the top of my head. But you would still need a servo in the system to run the upgrade
