Mach 5's.......No More........
« on: January 08, 2007, 12:28:56 »
Well...........got this from a very good source today ??

Sorry but we have taken the decision of halting sales for the forseeable future of the mach 5 wheel! We will be reviewing the situation again in March. We are of course honouring all wheels currently on order.

Our business is taking a different direction in 2007 with the manufacture of our off road racers. If manufacture of the Mach 5 wheel is to carry on then we will start taking orders again from April 1st. Unfortunately there will be a significant price increase, how much we cannot say yet. Sizes available will also be confirmed in April.

Kind regards
Stephanie & Matt

So anyone with a set might want to keep hold of em

I thought the wheel producing part of the business was up for sale as a going concern a couple of years ago?

If this is true then i can see someone like D44 buying the company, or simply just making the wheels themselves.

They are very popular, i dont see why Matt is stopping production. Fool!

Well it seems Devon 4x4 have no interest in making them, so yes, probably.

Matts place is about 15 mins from my house and the process seems very labour intensive. He was struggling to get the steel for the wheels i wanted about 18 months ago.
His offroad racers are awesome though i have no idea how big the market is.
