One Rangie,One Disco two gas kits, one busy weekend.
« on: October 27, 2004, 00:10:21 »
:-k Well what a weekend ive just had. Ive recently bought my mates bobtailed rangie on the condition he kept the grizzly claw tyres +2" shocks and the efi gubbins. So i agreed, and he has recently bought a std v8 disco. So this weekend me and my mate worked solid swapping the efi unit and part of the gas kit and wheel and tyres onto his disco and fitting a new gas kit to it, while takeing off the su carb setup from the disco and fitting it to the rangie. Sounds straight forward far from it re-wireing re-plumbing, drilling, and cutting fineally got done on sunday after noon just had to check co reading on both vehicles. I put a new set of pro comp +2"shocks and springs on my bobtail and new 265/75/16 grizzlys on white eight spokes (looks a rite beast). And my mate put a set of 235/85/16 grizzlys on the disco trimming the arches to suit. Whent to local gas station to fill both vehicles and both are running really well considering it was a rush job. Shart be doing again though im knackerd. Cant wait for my first outing in the rangie though.....  :D  :D  :D
If in first you dont suceed, try second....
If it aint broke, your not trying ard enough....

Regards MIKE.

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
