Proper customer service
« on: January 10, 2007, 20:09:54 »
A little whilst ago i asked about getting my snap on trolley jack repaired/serviced,   after finally getting around to it i contacted my old dealer and arranged to drop of me jack for service/repair, was quoted about £59 plus vat, which sounded reasonable to me, was done over christmas time so took 3 weeks in total , but did mention to him that it was not in every day use,   anyhow  got a call to pick it up and to my pleasent suprise i had been given a brand new jack, complete apart from the wheels  ( which i had to swap over from my returned jack ) apparantly they were waiting for some parts to complete the service which were not going to arrive in the near future ( my jack is probally 10 years plus old)   so i ended up with a squeeky new unit for the price of a service :D  :D I know they are a tad dear in the first place, but im well happy in the long run

How many times does that happen in life ??

I thought snap on had a life time warranty? We had a few things from them that broke but have never had them repaired cos the dealer we used retired and the guy that took over is like the invisible man :(
