Yeh, but did you know that if you tow professionaly, ie, you're say a builder, and you tow a trialer with your landie, if the whole thing weighs over 3.5 tonnes(i think) you need to have a tacho fitted....!!!To be legal anyway!
ok guys and girlswhats the max towing weights for your landie then

i once pulled my dads 16ton lorry about 15 miles back to the depot when its engine developed a terminal oil leak. it was about 3/4 loaded at the time, so about 14 tongot to 45 mph eventually, after about 10 minutes on a dual carriageway!that was with a 2.25 diesel

By the way did anybody see the pics of the VW Tourag pulling the 747 weighing about 150 tonnes :shock:
