Made some changes......
« on: January 21, 2007, 17:24:19 »
....by getting rid of the roof rack, getting a light bar, adding the steering guard and chequer plating the top of the bumper.

The pictures show before and after (or should I say after and before, as I could not get them in the right order!! I like the changes, although at first I was n't quite sure.

If the passenger side headlamp looks a bit bright it could be because I dropped it on the drive when up-grading the bulbs - smash!!!!! lol Where do I get a replacement lens - local parts store or do I have to trail to the Land Rover dealer???

Hope you all like,

David

...the white thing is (was?) a high powered spot light that the previous owner used when he went shooting. Bet it scared the cr*p out of the little bunnies !!!

Ignoring the arguement, the Defender looks very nice with your modifications. I do like the light bar.

Ok so went to 4 places today and the cheapest quote for the headlight unit was £25.

Its a near (passenger)-side NON-sealed unit for the 1986 V8 110. Anybody tell me where to get one for a tenner !!!???!!!

Thanks,

David
