WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: July 30, 2003, 13:19:19 »
At the end of 2002 I opened a Dutch Land Rover forum (www.landroverforum.nl)

Now I have 25 registered users and 40 posts...

This forum has only been active for a couple of days and:
45 registered users and 203 posts...

What's wrong with the Dutch Land Rover owners???? What do you have that we don't???

Remco

Oh well... at least it's fun being here

I think the thread title might be considered swearing by many people.
The same thought regarding swearing had occured to me as well but I didn't like to mention it. I am not at all prudish and the other forum I often spend time on is fully no holds barred, but if this is going to be no swearing then perhaps it should start as it means to go on.
To be honest, calling a section "The Bar" and then having no swearing seems a bit odd though?

Just changed the title... Is this better? :-)

Never crossed my mind that b*gg*r would be seen as swearing by the British

A section called "The Bar", well I prefer it to the "Rover Return" never did like Betties Hot Pots :D

We could of gone up market and called it the Wine Bar or The Lounge or for our continental members The Cafe.

Not the Queen Vic otherwise we'd all be writing in cockney slang, but we could of gone for the WoolPack which would of made Dyfed feel more at home

Andy, we could change the name as many times as you've changed yours      :P

The Woolpack would be ok as there's Landies in the opening credits, better than a mingin' cat or the defunk Millenium Dome

If you promise to shoot the rest of the cast we won't tell on you

Mind you, don't shoot Sonia and Pat Butcher, they get the kids out the living room and gives me half an hours peace and quiet

Oh god it sound like I watch the program. I only know they're that bad cause the 'Bear in the Wood' on Bo' Selecta (C4) told me so
