Just watched Top Gear at work, there was around 100 - 150 guests crammed into the TV lounge to watch it.
I've NEVER been in a room full of people as silent as tonight.

Major respect to Hammond. Not many people would actually be able to look at that video, let alone do a commentary about it.[/b]

And I also agree with JC's description of Jade Goody. A racist, pigfaced, useless bag of blood and organs. Too true.
Its good to see Top Gear back. A non PC TV programme in a PC dominated country.

Aye, amazing to see something like that, and to see the person involved alive and talking about it.

Loved the roadworks too, though the "who cares" attitude and mini-disasters reminded me a bit too much of the site where I'm working :P

Especially the "You just rolled over a stopcock you cock!" comment, done similar in a 6 ton dumper :D Though that wasn't entirely my fault. Where we'd dug underneath an asbestos water main and refilled, we were loading the dumper, and as I drove it away, a puddle appeared and quickly became quite large :D

He said Clarkson was a bit miffed they wouldn't get to do it (tongue in cheek miffed I guess).
