DuPont Imron used to be classified as quite a good paint I recall
(used on truck chassis)

May be worth investigating??

Is probably just an epoxy based paint....

I really doubt it's anything 'that' special.

A quick search on google....

The other option, if starting with a bare chassis, is to get stove-enamelled.

Smo, a bit far from you (not from me   ), but I have heard some very good reports about:

Millennium Coating (UK) Ltd
Peasehill Road
Ripley
DE5 3JH(Road Map)
Derbyshire
Tel: 01773 513221

They've got the chassis/spaceframe of the racer that I'm doing the engine for... and I've heard their work is absolutely spot on.

They do all the work for you... so you just get a fully painted chassis back.
