Internet browsers

Well because I seem to be the victim of software copying or whatever ( :roll: ) I cant upgrade to IE7 like on my other computer.
I quite like the feel of IE7 and the way that you can open new tabs etc.
So is there a way of downloading IE7 without the genuine windows check thingy or what do you guys and gals suggest to use instead browser wise? :P

Use Firefox - tabbed browsing, should be more secure, less bloated, and best of all, it's not made by Microsoft.

I've avoided upgrading to IE7 on any of my computers;  Firefox seems a better all-rounder and I could do without the bloat.

Try FireFox (http://www.getfirefox.com).

It is FREE; it had tabs long before Microshaft thought of adding them; it has in-line spell-checking in forms (just need to install the optional British dictionary though, but it offers you the chance to do that at install time).

Much better. I use it all of the time.

I agree.... FIREFOX.... less hassle than IE, personally think its faster too.

heard of this firefox b4 if i were to down load it wud it overwrite me ie7? or do i ahve to do something else?

thanks guys ive downloaded firefox now and im quite impressed its very easy to use and i think its slightly faster that IE :P

It doesn't replace Internet Explorer, just gives you a different browser as well. You can choose which one you use, or use both at once if you wanted to.

This is an issue I have.  I think I installed the British version of the dictionary, but it still says that I'm spelling words wrong that are truly how we spell them.  Is something wrong here?

if you use photobucket as an image website then install Flock

its firefox with photobucket's image upload tool added on more or less

it doesnt perform like the full on firefox (for instance you cant get drop down lists of links on the toolbar like you can in FF)

Try right-clicking the field, going to the "Languages" part of the context menu and checking that "English / United Kingdom" is selected. (Only possible if "Spell check this field" is ticked.)
