ok something isnt right with my gear box, after offraoding the disco on the sunday just gone the box doesnt seem right.... its a 4 speed auto box by the way
well when im driving along you cant realy tell any difference but basicaly the problem is when you need to hit the go go pedal.... every gear engages as i can feel it chance up and down into every gear and it will hold in every gear when i select the shifter into the appropreate gear, but when i pull off (still in 1st) it will pull fine with plenty of torgue and will push you into the seat, but asoon as it changes to 2nd it stays at the same revs but doesnt pull to well, like there isnt any traction between the engine and box, even when i increase the revs the car wont pull any faster or harder, its just a constant slow pull and speed increase......... WHEN!!!! it does mange to get abit of speed up in 2nd and changes to 3rd it works aswell as it used to, and has even more pull than 2nd does, even at higher speed....
so basicaly im sure something is wrong with my second gear in my auto box, like something is broke/ worn etc but i dont realy no how an auto box works properly, and how it changes gear, and when to do it, so i cant understand in my own head what the problem may be.....
