Would the old box be able to take that? Forgive me, ive never attempted an engine conversion before. Just want to stick a v8 in it some how. cheers.
Just sold my 90 for £1000 :( the woodruff key had gone so couldnt get any more for it. Ah well. What kinda prices would i be looking at to full convert a series 2a toa v8? Rob

As long as you're not flooring it, and have some mechanical sympathy you should be okay as peak torque isn't low down like on a TDi.
series 2 boxes will have very little with problems V8, know a few kicking around and non of them girly right feet in control
