turbo tweek ,egr removed ,brakes done as well ,also some other bits wheel bearings ,timing belt, anti roll bar removed   :lol:   its a much quicker motor now  :lol:

the cam belt has a fault on the 300tdi and the pulley kit and belt can be around £80 but can be got off ebay for around £40-50 ...then there is the labour  :wink:  so unless you know its had the upgrgrade kit ,its the dearer option im afraid :lol:

He,s a top mechanic best i,ve ever seen worked with him for 18 months. Not long enough than he moved to solihull and the work shop was never the same again

I think it might need a tweak back a bit, will have to see what the smoke is like in the daylight, Mark's seemed fine - didn't notice any smoke when he pulled in front.  :D

To be honest matts did seem very smokey last night in the dark, but he said today in the light of day it was fine, so see how you get on, have you noticed an increse in pulling power?

Oooh yeah, pulled away from one set of traffic lights and I'm pretty sure the wheels were spinning (if they can do that). Should be a bit different towing the caravan  :wink:  :roll:

Smoke always looks worse in the dark anyway  8)

I had fun this afternoon, raced a chave in a saxo from a set of lights in birmingham city centre, left him for dead in a ploom of soot, and the look on hes face, just been wasted by 2 ton of solihulls finest, happy days 8)

How do you tweak the turbo?

I have heard you can tweak the fuel pump to get more power, but it increases the smoke!

What's the method and the pitfalls?
