anyone recognise these wheels ?
« on: February 05, 2007, 13:10:11 »
Anyone know what these wheels are from ? - they are 17" diameter and I have been told they are from a range rover or a discovery but I don't recall either of these motors having seventeen inchers fitted
Could the be freelander wheels ?
Oh - and would they fit a P38 ?
Thanks

think later freebies had 17".. duno about compatability tho - P38 weighs a bit more than a Freebie  ;)

Disco 3...

Base model TdV6 jobbies

Will fit P38 AFAIK, but you may need new nuts and an adaptor ring (wheel centre different size... not expensive)

Thanks Ian ( and others )
The wheels are fitted with 235/70 R17 tyres
Found them advertised on ebay fairly near to me but I don't think I'll bother with them now
a) - they are too skinny and I'll stick with my 255's till something else comes up
b) - don't really feel comfortable fitting spacers to the hubs to make them fit (just me, I'm sure they would be fine ) and don't want to fork out for another set of nuts either
Think I'll just save up my pennies and get a set of 18" hurricanes - I really like them on a Rangie
