Pikini winch mount

Yet again im being fussy on the winch bumper i want,

Ive seen these pikini mounts but cant find any good pics. anyone run these got a pic?

i like them due to the winch is abit higher and i can keep my bumper,

how do you rate them, will they take the abuse of pulling a 110 through when stuck up to the axle on 35s?

Hi
I had one on the front of my 110 http://www.4x4response.net/fforum/index.php?topic=271.0 until the other night when some tosser nicked it.
In extreme load situations you can see a small amount of twisting (but I do mean small). But all in all I was very happy, I fitted on for cost reasons about 3 years ago and just decided that it wasn't worth getting a proper winch bumper until now (the insurance are paying).

What ever you do though make sure you do something to stop the thieving B£$*(**&s just simply unbolting it.

I'm having a standard Scorpion Racing one this time.

Hope this has helped a little

FireBond on an agreed valuation policy. All mods declared hense the winch being covered. Very good Fully comp for about 150 quid.
Seems they will cover pretty much all mods except you cannot touch the engine/ intercooler etc.

Just been searching the net to try and find a supplier of Bikini mounts with limited success.  I got mine (the one in the first pic on the link in my original reply) from our local independent in Norwich.  They are plated 5mm steel and after 3 years unpainted had suffered no corrosion so I can reccomend them. less than 85 quid delivered I've just been told. I'll PM their number to you.

Regards
