Blizzard in Leyburn
« on: February 10, 2007, 17:13:03 »
It was snowing when I got up this morning, it changed to sleet at about 9am, then to rain around 10am. By 11am it had stopped leaving an inch to two inches of very wet dense snow on the drive.

Time to try creating my own blizzard. With little confidence due to the dense wet nature of the snow I started up the blower.

WHOOOOOO boy does this thing blow snow, even wet stuff can be blown 20 feet away no problem. it also clears right down to the tarmac leaving very little behind. A bit of practice steering one handed, whilst cranking the output chute handle and I can throw it almost anywhere I want.
Now what I need is six inches or more of nice dry snow:-)
SWMBO took a little persuading to come out with the camera, can't understand why she was not as keen as me??
If you can't get there in a Land Rover you can't get there
