i've just enjoyed a really pleasant evening @ a friends home.

Good company good whisky good food, in that order.

Hes just bought his first ever Land Rover and was obviously over the moon with his purchase. I drove it, its very nice a Disco 300, a big difference to my Disco 200 in terms of refinement.

Anyway i've just got home to find that one of my rubber wheel arches has been nicked off my Disco.

How do I know it was nicked? Cause this afternoon i've checked the security of the rubber wheelarch extensions and added extra silicone to one on the opposite side.

Also the one thats gone missing wasnt only siliconed into place but also screwed into place from the interior of the door.

I hate the way some people think its OK to do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A sign of the times i'm sure.
Cheers, Nathan.

After my divorce in 2000 I was a bit skint (mainly through celebrating)
I had an old metro I bought for £150 turbo too :D
One hungover morning I looked out and a guy was kneeling on the bonnet unscrewing the aerial on the roof  , needless to say I was out there , and there where dents in the bonnet, not from him , but when his head accidental made contact with it while I was trying to restrain him
An hour later, police at my door, very friendly, arrested ME  for assault .

Long and short was, if I didn't press charges against him for criminal damage , he wouldn't press charges against me for assault

I know the police are between a rock and a hard place with this type of thing, but it begs the question, even if you do catch them what are you supposed to do  :?

Only use 'reasonable force' to restrain them...

If his head had just bounced off the bonnet once whilst you dragged him off, surely that would have merely been because he pulled away as you grabbed him and he slipped.......

You'd just have t mkae sure that that one bounce did the same damage to him as two or three    :D

That happened to a friend of mine he found someone in his house after a night out with his wife.
The scum bag was in his discovery in his garage but he had a nasty fall down the stairs (as he chased him through the house NOT).
The police arrested him for assult but as i said he fell down the stairs in the chase it was his word againsed my mates.
he was a re offender and my mate told them he was doing work on the disco thats why it was part dismantald.
needles to say my mate got away with it.
the other fella (scum) died 5 weeks later as he was arrested and let out ,so he thought he would get a free ride home in a police car by nicking it and drove it into a wall about 3 miles away at high speed.
so as they say ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT   .

Last year I caught a scrote actually inside my Caravan in the garden, I did nt bother with the police , I gave him a bloody good hiding , if the Police had come back to do me , well Id have had to have taken  what came, but at least I knew Id defended my property and family so I would have slept at night.

It's all down to Human Rights I think.

Got a Police warning a few years ago for having a go (verbal) at someone causing criminal damage to next doors shed. Chased them off and was told that alledgedly, one of them was physically hurt when they lept over a wall to get away from me. That meant it was my fault. Only reason I wasn't arrested was because the person was a minor and the father refused to press charges.

I'm all for human rights but surely, these should be forefit if you break the law . After all, by doing so is infringing on others rights to a peaceful, law abiding existence.
I have two brains, one with marbles and one without.

Guess which one I'm using today.

Well this news might not have reached you all as it's not in any of your areas.

On Friday an ambulance was stolen by a 19 year old while the crew were attending to a person in the house.

According to reports the ambulance not only had stuff stolen but is badly damaged and is possible that it wouldn't be used again. The ambulance had a tracker fitted and again according to reports the police had the vehicle within a few miles.
The 19 year old was according to reports up in court yesterday on a aggrivated vehicle taking charge. Nothing new on what happened.

Well you see I think a very good thing here would be for the courts to deny ANY further medical treatment to this person.

I shall stick my head above the parapet.
As one of those who seeks to detain and deal with the morally challenged section of society, I would just like to add my two pen'worth.
Yes, I get fed up with the endless process of catch 'em, and then let them out.
The Human Rights Act is a wonderful piece of law. If you happen to be a barrister who specializes in The Human Rights Act (Cherie Blair).
The HRA came about after the Nuremburg War Crimes Tribunal, and every European country signed up. Except Britain. Why? Because our laws were felt to be good enough at the time to deal with all points raised.
So, along comes Brussels with some oppurtunistic lawyers and the rest folks, is history!
I was always under the impression that the law is there to protect the public and to stop the criminal element from taking over. Ooops!
You all have my sympathy, and no, I am not looking for praise for the pants job that I do.
But, being a beliver in the ancient law of 'threefold', it will return on them at some point.
I could bore you with stories, but then I would have nothing to write into my memoirs.

I agree absolutely, if someone is clearly breaking the law they don't deserve any protection from it.  This country has gone mad, if the t**t hadn't been breaking in then it wouldn't have happened, his fault and should have to clean the wall where his blood was spilt.
