Anyone Using Recip Trial Tyres

I am thinking of treating my Disco to a new set of 235/70/16 Recip Trail

Tyres.  Anyone using these and if so I would wellcome any comments

a mate of mine runs em. he says they are a cracking tyre, and their on road handeling is good considering they are a good off road tyre too. still prefer the BFG's though, they are just so dear!

Several people at college run them, they are not half shaft brakingly brilliant though i dought and 32" tyre is without driver abuse, but they will get over/through most things they try, performing similarly to those running simex copies. Therefore my vote is good off road and not bad on road either, no ones run them long enough to judge how they wear.


Last year as some final year students for their course work tested (as in measuring traction, rolling resistance etc.) several different off road tyres though I don't think they tested anything more extream than a BFG mud and it was on sahara sand so they would have probably just sunk to the axles anyway.
