My last 110 V8 had the centre box removed and replaced with a straight bit of pipe - it sounded very similar to this just running the rear silencer
Strange thing was it wasn't too noisy inside as you tended to leave the sound behind you when you were driving !

Ok, how did you do it and is it legal?

I've got a stanless sports system for the LSE, now I want it to sound civilised inside and on the motorway but I want a decent burble from outside, I'm thinking single box but I don't think the one in the system is man enough ot work on it's own.

I have standard back box and a diesel middle box from a defender I think (not sure as I just had a rummage through the Bearmach parts store!)
I also fitted cat free downpipes as its on LPG and passes MOT no probs

Blue had a TDi box and no backbox when we got it, sounded cool but I got tired of it on long journeys.

Here is a recording I made this morning by duct taping my phone to the rear ladder and speeding off up the dual carriageway!
Sound quality could be a little better but you get the idea. I do a lot of Rally Marshalling and the regular marshalls always know when I am on the way! http://www.smart-suits.com/4x4/v8.wav

I will try and get a better recording of it but I need to fix the leak at the front first! It also spits flames on over run if the lpg mix is a little high!
