well Not the one i was after..but same age, better spec, 7 seats, and towbar - lol and more importantly LESS money ;) Log book says BLUE , but looks more GREEN to me!!!!

That interior is Different, I cant decide if I like it or not!
 The reg VAC could mean its an ex press car if I am not mistaken?

Dunno - my mind was ringing bells when i saw VAC..but i think you mean the G *** WAC 200 discos??
As for the interior - it grows on you, been very well done - not sure if its a complete panel, or the Leather Dye you can buy!

spec is its a Tdi..ie base ;)
30 Tdi engine - still has EGR fitted - For now!!!!!
No sunroofs, leccy windows..leccy mirrors, remote central locking /alarm.. and thats about it!!
also has the Rear lights wired up correctly - so that the inicators ALL work, not just the ones in the bumper

Are the tail lights set up as 4-lamp as well?
Those are perhaps more important than the indicators

been to see a previous owner, and according to paperwork that was passed to him (and lost!!) its supposed to be a prototype for a model upgrade???????????????????????

Contact the British Motor Heritage Museum in Gaydon.
  They will give you contacts in Lode Lane that will tell you all you need to know. There were very helpful to me when I needed details on the NAS 110 Prototype I bought with a freind.

Yes they are - but are usually mono tone - these have a body coloured centre panel stitched in
