on my disc 300tdi my battery keeps going flat when you park the thing up for more than a day and a half altenator still giving 100 amps is there any common dead shorts i should look for ?? mind you batt might be suspect as is second hand but showed good on draw test so help me
As a youth I could run up and down stairs all day now I'm older it takes me all day just to walk upstairs

My 200 did this, turned out to be a fault on the alarm immobiliser, I disconnected this one night and no discharge

Reckon the solenoid in the door seized and shorted something on the circuit board

But specific I know, but first of all have you had the battery tested?

You may have a cell down on it, if so no matter how much charge you give it, it wont last

try unplugging the glow plug relay. I get this problem now and again but since unplugging the relay its been fine.
Mine has a new batt and alternator fitted,
its worth a try and dont cost owt! it starts perfect without glow plugs anyway so i'll leave it as is

Drivers side inner wing right by the radiator header tank. And i still aint had a flat batt since unplugging it!!!

thank you all very much had battery checked it had 2 ffff nackerd cells new battery £50 worries nill lost on that one
