Seat Belts
« on: February 19, 2007, 10:32:45 »
My 110 CSW has two seat belts in the front and that's it, nothing on the front centre or any of the other seats.

What's the law for a 1989 vehicle and would it have had more fitted from factory?

Rear Seat belts came in from 1986 onwards, so you should have a set.

It's a County Station Wagon!
Therefore, 2 rows of Forward Facing seats, & then side facing seats.
Besides, legality or not, Would you really want go anywhere without your children etc,  being safely buckled in?

Technoturkey, I am in exactly the same position with the same vehicle. They can't be needed for Mot because mine has had one until last year (when I started tinkering!!). There was something on one of the forums about this a while ago, but as Dave K points out, I wouldn't be taking anyone in the back until I have found some belts. You will also need fitting kits/plates - not easy to find as the breakers tend to sell tubs complete with the belt mountings rather than splitting up.
