:D :D Well done Att and all the very best to you...like you,I also do a lot of travelling abroad on board motorbikes and this type of thing has always been my worse nightmare scanario...once again,all the best to you...hope there were no injuries involved.... :) :) Terry Smith
Quote from: "Tailendcharley":D :D Well done Att and all the very best to you...like you,I also do a lot of travelling abroad on board motorbikes and this type of thing has always been my worse nightmare scanario...once again,all the best to you...hope there were no injuries involved.... :) :) Terry Smith I was massively impressed with the Belgian Police who attended the scene.They first listened to the independent witness, who had to jam his brakes on to avoid running us both over! as we had been thrown from the bike into the fast lane.Then he listened to me, the best I could muster...I was in shock pretty much.My experience of incidents abroad, and there has been a few, is brilliant.I must say that in the UK the authorities on the whole are very unhelpful, to the extent of breathalysing you in the back of an ambulance!....But I just put this down to the UK culture and their general mistrust of anything on two wheels.If you are going to have a bike accident, have it abroad, they treat you like a human being and not a criminal.

All I ask is if you have a gripe with the way that the Authorities, by which I presume you mean,the Police, deal with something, then complain. There is a correct procedure and your complaint will be listened to.But, please do not generalise. There will always be those in any walk of life who are useless, but not all are.
