How?!

I have just taken your GPS apart and you've even managed to get mud between the LCD and the touch panel, which is sealed!?

I have a partial story from bunnie but given there was more mud inside it then, well, most of Salisbury plain, I think you should share how you did it :)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

thank for er... stitching me up like a kipper!!
er... no... not salisbury plain... but wales...
we were offraoding and it was 3am... and i had the sat nav in the 90 and i rolled it... and it fell right past me, into the mud  :cry:
and... so that is how mud got in there!!
is she fixable?  :cry:

Well to be honest with you it looks like you let it dry out before you tried using it, Display has been stripped and cleaned and looks like it'll probobly behave now, rest is just very dry, sandy mud and I dont see any corrosion. Need to get some IPA or PCB cleaning solvent but it doesnt look that bad at all. I suspect the battery pack is well and truly dead though.

but it was last october... and in my defense it was 3am and i had driven 5 hours to get there (wales) and i was tired...

but we righted her and turned the key ... perfect!!
just... a bit of damage,... smashed glass etc... and the sat nav  :cry:
