Dead people care about their credit rating...
« on: February 23, 2007, 09:18:18 »
Aparently. Got this from Equifax:

Quote
Equifax would like to stress just how vulnerable your loved ones are once they’ve died.

I would have thought they would be pretty much past caring to be honest but hey ho. I can just see it now, it all comes to court, then person who's identity thats been stolen is then fined/prosecuted on the basis of not showing up because they are dead.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I can't help but think that the original message might well have been spam.  I keep getting mail asking me what the mother of my children would think if they saw my browsing habits...  I think they'd be more shocked at being the mother of my children than at my browsing habits (which are rather mundane)

Nope, was a genuine email from Equifax.
