« on: February 25, 2007, 10:52:33 »
Hi all, Any ideas please?! The clutch pedel on my 90Td F reg only goes half way down and the release bearing is noisy. could this be a broken release lever? if so whats the best way to handle the gearbox to make room to fix?

Broken release lever?

The thrust bearing has dried up and seized, then the friction generated by the thrust bearing rubbing, rather than spinning on the cover fingers has caused the plastic part of the thrust bearing to melt. This is quite a common occurrence. New clutch time I'm afraid.
