A mate of mine showed me how to do it once by knocking around the bezzel (I think thats what you call it) as if you are knocking it on, and pulling on the opposite side. It took him about 10 seconds to get it off (however I've tried it once & couldn't do it!!). Give it a try, it might work for you.

You can make a tool as per the advice I was given.

PM me and I still have the instructions/measurements and pictures. Alternatively, I'm only 5 miles from Evesham. i'm sure I could lend you my home made removal tool!

Although I'm popping to spain for a few days at the end of this week so it will probably be the following weekend before I get a chance.

Thanks

I was heavily advise against using force to remove it...you'll probably find, as I did, that it won't budge anyway unless you use some sort of tool!

Have a look at ebay item 120094131972

Seller feedback and reviews look good.

once removed nut, place a block of wood on shaft and give it a tap while someone pulls, should come off easy

leave the nut on a few turns!
they hurt quite a bit if they suddenly come flying off and hit you in the face!

I've used the following on both my 90 & Disco and it worked. No special tools needed.  :D

Undo the centre nut but, as Ian has said, leave it on a few turns to stop the wheel comming off at a great rate of knots.
Get inside the vehicle and grip the wheel in a 3 & 9 o'clock positions.
Pull on the wheel as hard as you can and try to shake the wheel by pulling first on one side then on the other in rapid movements.

With me it came loose within about 10 seconds.
It may not work but worth a try before the pullers and special tools come out.
