First Disco I've seen with a rear-mounted basketball net.  But you fitted it the wrong way round...

nice set up matt! im thinking about champion winches, they seem a little bit cheaper than the rest. have you used it yet? how is it? which winch did you go for, cos i dont know what weight to get. im guessing the more power the better, is that right?

thanks... ive not had chance to use it properly yet, but, its the C10000G-S model and at full extention it will pull around 4.5 tonne so i was told from winch solutions where i bought it. he also threw in a wireless remote for me, but it seems to leave the winch on for a fraction of a second after releasing the button, which could be tricky in precision situations.

ive unwound it and rewound it, thats about it at the mo.
im intendin to do a test pull before i need to use it but its findin somewhere to do it.
ive also been told to oil the cable well on the inner coils to prevent rusting as much as possible, which is logically a good idea!!

what the plans for your disco landy? preping for offroad or making it pritty too? these trucks are ideal for sound systems. what's yours like? ive just settles for a 12inch bass tube and 2 rear 6X9s. does the trick for now i gues :?  8)

fli 4" frount 3 ways
fli 5" rear 3 way
fli 800w sub with built in amp
it rattles the windows for sure

the disco was offroaded 2 days after buying and as comped for 4 years now
a few bumps bits fell off but bolt back on and i bought her to off road and use daily to work and she has done me well so far

i did it all on a budget

played at fun/club/national level without any mods to suspension just tyre's and guards / snorkal for my pease of mind not looks

cheers steve, will get some spots, probibly wont get the biggest ones, maybe the wapac ones with the guards. mainly want a beefy light bar ofer the windscreen and 2 work lamps in the back as my reverse lights dont work and they will come in handy.

landy and matty, bet you'd rather keep the inside of the truck dry i gues. nearly paped myself when water came in on a play day at slab common. the amp is behind the passenger seat!!!       but the was twisted drivers side down.
got yanked out just in time though!

beatmasterdave... i bought some of the wipacs with the guards on but ive found i cant fit them on the winch bumper because the winch is in the way. you may want to see what winch youre gonna get and then see how much room you have for lights after that.

the other problem ive encountered is that theres nowhere for my number plate to go.... its just tie wrapped on at the moment!! lol

altho, ive just looked at your pics again.... it looks like you may be ok as the winch mounts pretty low, under the grill.

mine doesnt!! lol  :(
