hi all anyone had this prob me is hoping it not box pete tong. sometimes go to change gear it all goes stiff and locks up cant select any gears i keep working to select gears after a few seconds they come back all ok :(
just get muddy

u tried changing the oil ?

had same problem after fiting recon box, turned out to be a nut that conects the gear leaver to the box under the turret it had worked loose and made gear change very dificult ,tightend it up and it worked a treat

I had that on my r380. Reversed out of someones drive and it all locks up on me. Freed up again. About a month later it did it again, my landy man took it away, stuck a new gearbox in for free. When he took the box apart, some wire type retainer had broken and was lying across the teeth.

well upon draining oil i found oil looked like summit out of a horror movie, and there was only about a pint in it  :(

i think its 2.5 litres for an LT77 and 2litres for the PAS.
if you you can make it i can break it.
